Bronchial Asthma

Bronchial asthma is another word for asthma. It is also a term used to differentiate it self from other forms of asthma. It is a destructive disease that attacks the respiratory system. It causes the airflow to work over time creating shortness of breath and spasms in the victim’s chest causing one to go into strenuous efforts in controlling ones breathing; creating a severe asthma attack.

Bronchial asthma is usually causes by a particular allergy such as the likes of dust, dander or mold. Although it is also believed that it is caused by respiratory infections. In most cases if that is cause of it, the symptoms would be a tight lining of the air passage ways causing them to become swollen and reducing the airflow resulting in whizzing sounds with mass mucus production increase. Though having this type of disease can at times become a danger hazard. If the airflow becomes too restricted the individual them selves suffocates resulting in fainting, cardiac arrest and the face and lips turning blue/purple and in some cases resulting in death. Asthma can effect you at any age and its best to be aware of the developing symptoms incase you fall victim to having an attack.
